What to Do this Summer

Summer has officially started. And I bet it's late for me 'coz I just entangled myself from the ties of academic craps.  Finally, I can begin figuring out what to do for the next two months.  Though things have been laid out for me, especially the itinerary for the Holy Week; but still, I'm thinking of a getaway and to spend the entire day or so with no less than...myself. Most of my time will be spent at home, but at least I'm free from the stresses-- thinking of all the requirements to comply with.  And I'm financially restrained, so being grounded at home is the most practical way of, well, spending what's left of my savings.  Bahala na.  I'll get back to the usual stuff I do everytime I go home.  Besides, I miss lagging along the beach and smell the salty sea, and sometimes, the funky smell of the pigpens beneath the shore. Imagine that.  Or I and my high school classmates will go on excursion in the hot spring or wherever.  I'm a bit clueless about my summer escapades. But I trust my instincts. I still have to finish my readings.  One thing is for sure, I'm happy to spend my summer vacation at home.
